Our church is Pentecostal, we pray in other tongues and say to the demons :” go out”. We believe in the gifts of the Holy Spirit, and in joy worship.( Mark 16: 15-18; Heb. 13:8).

Greetings in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ from Ukraine.

My name is Alexander Ilash, Pastor of Church "The Well of Living Waters" in the city Izmail which is located on the south-west side of Ukraine. I am 35 years old, married and I have three daughters and three sons. My lovely wife Nadia is age 34, and very much likes Jesus. We have now been married for over 13 years. My sons: Alexander age: 12, Daniel 2 year and baby Benjamin. Three beautiful daughters Anna- 9 year, Lija - 7 year, Dina - 6 year.

Our church celebrated its 7th anniversary on the 24th of January. We do not have our own building for church . The church consists of the cell-groups, which are scattered all around the town (the population of Izmail is 90 thousand people) and on Sundays we all get together as a big family to praise and worship our Lord. We have already begun the outreach work in the nearby villages. Only in Odessa region (where is situated our town), there are more than 300 villages and small towns where nobody preaches Christ. In some villages there are only the dead orthodox church. People work hard there, drink a lot and only watch TV. Without Jesus, in the villages a lot of people are dead in sins and go to Hades. We visited in villages, a lot families, an orphanage & wherever we went, we sang hymns & songs, preached, showed them "Jesus" movie, gave testimony & spoke of Christ, seeking to win souls & encourage a people.

We took many things with us to give away. Hundreds of New Testaments were given away at evangelistic meetings & after church services. We were able to spread hundreds of tracts around to people on the streets, at markets of villages, during & after our meetings. We were also able to give lots of needed foods & clothes. All of this was funded by voluntary donations from members our church. At the moment there are about 200 members, who are constantly serving the Lord and 100 children. In the Ukraine we have no spiritual education There are no subjects about God or Jesus Christ in the curricula in our schools. Most Ukrainian children are perfectly ignorant in the spiritual question.
